Your mission

Your mission is to enhance Carly's web presence in both usability for customers as well as technical setup. You are fully involved in the improvements of our biggest acquisition and onboarding channel, reaching a global fast-growing automotive industry, especially in the repair and maintenance market.

Your responsibilities

• Develop meaningful product increments through user stories and thereby further engage our customer base
• Take on responsibility during development by focusing on a high degree of stability and quality at all times
• Ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with other departments in developing solutions and aligning with your lead during sprints
• Work in an agile environment to develop the next-generation application that will ensure the effective exploitation in a local testing environment and implementing them 
• Ensure Carly’s web presence remains at the cutting edge by increasing responsiveness and improving cross-platform optimisations
• Work directly with high performance, industry-level, experts who drive technical expertise within the company
• Keep up to date with emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them into development cycles

Your profile

• 2+ years of proven experience in development
• You're proficient in at least one of these frameworks: Vue.js, React, or NextJS, showcasing your ability to elevate any project.
• You have a solid experience with Typescript
• You are an expert with runtime environment Node.js
• Familiarity with Docker, MongoDB, GraphDB, AWS services (Lambda, API Gateways, Cloudfront), and DevOps practices (CI/CD) will be beneficial.
• You're able to work with API requests as well as writing unit and integration tests with jest, cypress or similar
• You enjoy working in an agile environment
• You're a flexible, hands-on team player that takes on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
• You have a sharp attention to detail and diligent approach for development
• Proficient in English

With the help of our product, our customers receive actionable advice. They can then cover a large part of their repair and maintenance on their own, placing them back in control over their vehicles.
