Your mission

As a Senior Backend Engineer, your mission is to design, develop, and maintain scalable, robust, and secure back-end systems that enable our platform's internationalization, foster community engagement, and drive Carly’s worldwide growth. You will strive to deliver innovative solutions that enable seamless integration with other systems, empowering our global community to achieve its goals.

Your responsibilities

Design and develop scalable and efficient backend systems: being responsible for designing and developing backend systems that are highly scalable, efficient, and reliable
Collaborate with cross-functional teams: working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that the backend systems meet the requirements of the Carly products
Ensure that the codebase is of high quality and maintainability
Manage data and database systems, ensuring that they are properly designed, optimized, and maintained
Ensure that the backend systems are secure and compliant with relevant regulations and standards
Identify and troubleshoot technical issues that arise in the backend systems
Stay up-to-date with new technologies, frameworks, and tools that can help improve the backend systems

Your profile

4+ years of proven experience as a Back-end developer
BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
Strong programming skills in one or more programming languages, such as Python
Experience with REST frameworks and technologies, such as Flask, Django, or equivalent
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, including the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
Flexible, hands-on team player that takes on new challenges in a fast-paced environment
Fluent in English; any other language is a plus
